Houston Musicians Group

Our members are meeting other musicians of similar interests. Many bands, duos and songwriting teams have evolved as a result of being members of this Meetup group. We listen to our members and respond accordingly. This group is a real success story.

Our 'open stage' events are right up there with the best Houston has to offer, typically at premium locations in safe neighborhoods.

We ask that members be respectful of each other and keep this a great forum to meet and get to know other musicians.

Please don't:
1. Contact other members to try to sell them something or for business unrelated to making music together. It is fair game to post gear and instruments for sale. Please remove the post after the item is sold or found.
2. Don't attempt to mass mail the group. If you have a question or something to promote, please email myself, Marie or Dirk and you should get a fairly prompt response.
3. Don't use the Discussion board to promote your band or club. The post will be removed. This group is about meeting other musicians, not booking playing jobs, winning a contest, selling your CD.
