Introduction
I'm a writer. I've been writing all my life. But few people wait until their 50s to put out their first album. I did. And I'm proud of it. They are the songs I wanted to write when I was 19 but I hadn't lived them yet.

What Dave Tutin is saying about this Meetup Group
It would be more valuable if it truly reperesented the industry as a whole not just musicians. If it offered the chance to meet publishers, record labels, agents etc etc. Even if all they sent were their junior staff, it would at least feel like real opportunities to get lucky were in the room.
