Musicians - A place to play

Hi All,

Finding a good place in which to try out new material is challenging. Most rooms are too noisy and distracting. Many places are marked by overt competition instead of polite consideration.

So, for those of you in near Evanston, IL, I'd like to recommend a beautiful little coffeehouse called the Pick A Cup.

Every Thursday night the coffeehouse hosts an open mic.

The stage is quite comfortable and audience listens.

Come on by, meet some new people and play your tunes.

I'll be there to host on some nights.
